Pete Peterson

NH Music Collective presents Pete Peterson live at Foster’s Tavern in Alton Bay! As a child and young teen in Florida, Pete Peterson was heavily influenced by a steady dose of southern gospel and R&B. He learned to play guitar at the age of sixteen, and later learned bass and keyboard. He formed his own band and traveled throughout Florida. He left engineering school at the University of Florida to pursue his passion for playing and performing, and eventually landed in New England. He is presently performing with his band, Rhythm Method, alongside his oldest daughter. They have performed at Venues ranging from Sugarloaf to the Bay City Blues Cafe in Memphis, and have been ranked by New Hampshire Magazine as New Hampshire’s best blues band. He started the dynamic duo, Family Affair, with his daughter Yamica, and continues to light up stages all over New England. He is currently performing solo as well, with genres ranging from soul to classic rock to reggae and some country.

Meet Willy Chase, a singer-songwriter with deep roots in New England’s disappearing farm-ag culture. Raised in the fields and forests of his family’s farm, he spent most of his summers baling hay, tending to the vegetables & animals, and working in the woods with his grandfather, father, uncle, and cousins. As a songwriter, he draws inspiration from these experiences which created deep bonds with family and the land on which they reside. Willy’s poignant lyrics reflect personal struggles – his connections to both virtue and vice are on clear display throughout his raw and authentic performances. Engaged heavily in Music & Arts in his youth, Willy spent a decade away from performing while attending Green Mountain College in VT, building a small business, and working in the Resort Industry. In 2022 Willy made his return to the stage with an underdog win at Patrick’s Pub Singer/Songwriter competition in Gilford, NH after seven qualifying attempts. He now performs regularly around the Lakes Region & North Country, playing his growing library of original music as well as all your favorite hits from the last 4 decades.

Equally talented on the guitar, bass, vocals, and songwriting, Everett brings a genuine love for music to all that he does. Born and raised in Chicago, Everett comes from a musical family. Penny Pendleton, Everett’s father, was a very accomplished and respected jazz bassist on the Chicago scene while his mother was a classical pianist and organist.
Everett’s influences are numerous and varied. His guitar influences are across many genres and include Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Adrian Belew, Steve Morse and Wes Montgomery. Bass influences include Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorius, Paul McCartney, Sting and his father, Penny Pendleton. As with his influences, his songwriting covers all styles with the intention of connecting people through common experiences and emotions.
Everett has played in bands that have opened up for groups such as a Flock of Seagulls, The Radiators and Canned Heat. Everett was a founding member of the New England band, Amazing MudShark. He brings a high level of energy and fun to his repertoire that include rock, blues, soul and country spanning from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. He released a CD of original music in 2016 and continues to work on original material.

Raised in the fields and forests of his family’s farm, he spent most of his summers baling hay, tending to the vegetables & animals, and working in the woods with his grandfather, father, uncle, and cousins. As a songwriter, he draws inspiration from these experiences which created deep bonds with family and the land on which they reside. Willy’s poignant lyrics reflect personal struggles – his connections to both virtue and vice are on clear display throughout his raw and authentic performances. Engaged heavily in Music & Arts in his youth, Willy spent a decade away from performing while attending Green Mountain College in VT, building a small business, and working in the Resort Industry. In 2022 Willy made his return to the stage with an underdog win at Patrick’s Pub Singer/Songwriter competition in Gilford, NH after seven qualifying attempts. He now performs regularly around the Lakes Region & North Country, playing his growing library of original music as well as all your favorite hits from the last 4 decades.

As a child and young teen in Florida, Pete Peterson was heavily influenced by a steady dose of southern gospel and R&B. He learned to play guitar at the age of sixteen, and later learned bass and keyboard. He formed his own band and traveled throughout Florida. He left engineering school at the University of Florida to pursue his passion for playing and performing, and eventually landed in New England. He is presently performing with his band, Rhythm Method, alongside his oldest daughter. They have performed at Venues ranging from Sugarloaf to the Bay City Blues Cafe in Memphis, and have been ranked by New Hampshire Magazine as New Hampshire’s best blues band. He started the dynamic duo, Family Affair, with his daughter Yamica, and continues to light up stages all over New England. He is currently performing solo as well, with genres ranging from soul to classic rock to reggae and some country.

He started performing in New England before moving to California to join Atlantic recording artists Wild Horses. In 2001 Lester moved back to New Hampshire and joined the band Mama Kicks (who won multiple Best Band awards in the Hippo Press). In 2010 he played bass/mandolin/acoustic guitar (as well as co-wrote the song My Light) on Sully Erna’s Avalon album which broke the Top 25 on Billboard. They have also toured throughout the United States and Canada and released a live DVD that was featured on the Palladia Channel.
In 2014 Chris had the honor of playing guitar with the legendary Carole King. 2016 saw the release of Sully Erna’s Hometown Life album which Chris played bass and acoustic guitar on. He also went to Bulgaria and toured the East Coast playing guitar, bass, mandolin and keyboards. He now plays guitar and keyboards as well as sings lead vocals for the Joe Walsh songs in The Dark Desert Eagles (an Eagles tribute with Extreme’s Pat Badger and Kevin Figueiredo) as well as performing solo acoustic shows.

As a child and young teen in Florida, Pete Peterson was heavily influenced by a steady dose of southern gospel and R&B. He learned to play guitar at the age of sixteen, and later learned bass and keyboard. He formed his own band and traveled throughout Florida. He left engineering school at the University of Florida to pursue his passion for playing and performing, and eventually landed in New England. He is presently performing with his band, Rhythm Method, alongside his oldest daughter. They have performed at Venues ranging from Sugarloaf to the Bay City Blues Cafe in Memphis, and have been ranked by New Hampshire Magazine as New Hampshire’s best blues band. He started the dynamic duo, Family Affair, with his daughter Yamica, and continues to light up stages all over New England. Meet Willy Chase, a singer-songwriter with deep roots in New England’s disappearing farm-ag culture. Raised in the fields and forests of his family’s farm, he spent most of his summers baling hay, tending to the vegetables & animals, and working in the woods with his grandfather, father, uncle, and cousins. As a songwriter, he draws inspiration from these experiences which created deep bonds with family and the land on which they reside. Willy’s poignant lyrics reflect personal struggles – his connections to both virtue and vice are on clear display throughout his raw and authentic performances. Engaged heavily in Music & Arts in his youth, Willy spent a decade away from performing while attending Green Mountain College in VT, building a small business, and working in the Resort Industry. In 2022 Willy made his return to the stage with an underdog win at Patrick’s Pub Singer/Songwriter competition in Gilford, NH after seven qualifying attempts. He now performs regularly around the Lakes Region & North Country, playing his growing library of original music as well as all your favorite hits from the last 4 decades.
